We couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate three 50th birthdays as we moved through this incredible landscape with you, Justus, Mugu, Avanaa, Emanuel and eventually Simeon – as well as 60 dogs. Highlights seem too many to mention but include the epic journey to Sermiliigaq (or past it!) on the never ending sea ice/ sea slush and the warm reception in Avanaa’s house when we finally arrived…. Our exposure to the hunters and the cultural experience was fantastic and unexpected. We thoroughly enjoyed their humour, camaraderie and incredible hard work when the going got tough… you have an awesome team here, you’ve made us feel so welcome. We already know that we will be back.
