On the 16 May 2000, Charlie became the first Scotsman and half of the first ever British team to ski unsupported from Canada to the Geographic North Pole.  Over this 10 week expedition, and subsequently through regularly guiding on the Arctic Ocean, Charlie has become an extremely able Guide in some of the toughest conditions on Earth, with a deep knowledge of sea ice and arctic expedition travel.

Upcoming Expedition

With Alan Chambers, Charlie will attempt to ski unsupported from Siberia to Canada via the Geographic North Pole over the Arctic Ocean.
